NCA’s North Franklin Office and Limbach Community Center is accessible to all residents and mobilizes resources for positive community participation. The agency has launched a new program to decrease the percentage of families in the community living in poverty by delivering a less cumbersome and more efficient way to increase their income using an Internet-based software program called The Benefits Bank. Families will be able to have access to the Benefits Bank to apply for benefits such as foods stamps, medical insurance, to file their income taxes and complete their FAFSA (Financial Aid For Student Assistance forms) forms. As families earn more, attention to the importance of lifelong education will increase.
