The NorthShore Community Alliance (formerly the Neighborhood Centers Association) is a not-for-profit human services organization that has been headquartered in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood for more than 100 years. The third-largest service provider for the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Office of Children Youth and Families, NCA provides intensive in-home training to families in crisis with the expressed goal of keeping families together. Additionally, the organization takes a proactive approach to building healthy communities by offering a wide range of services in education—from safe and nurturing after-school programs for kids to diploma certification and entrepreneur/business expansion training for adults. Following its recent completion of the strategic planning process, NCA is launching a new campaign to create a Technology/Conference Center in one of Pittsburgh’s most blighted neighborhoods that will help expand its reach and match the organization’s new tagline: NCA…Unlimited Opportunities At Your Doorstep. |
